The records are concerned primarily with the Dean's Office under Dean Richard R. Weeks who assumed the position in 1970. Some records from Deans George A. Ballentine (1946-1966) and Frederick Amling (1966-1969) are included. The collection consists of two series: the General File (1968-1973) includes correspondence, minutes and agenda of faculty meetings and annual reports; the Budget files (1944-1970) include salary schedules and authorizations and budget estimates and requests.
